Distance Learning
Target group
students already having a minimum of flying experience (PPL), aiming to become an Airline Transport Pilot or obtain a higher qualification, but who, because of professional and/or personal reasons, are not able to commit to a full-time daytime course or evening course.
Course start
candidates can start the course at any time and complete the course at their own pace. The candidates must follow 75 hours of refresher courses at BAFA.
Admission requirements
minimum age 17 years. Must be in possession of the minimum flying qualification of Private Pilot (PPL).
Admission tests
before being admitted to the training, must be in possession of a class 1 medical examination certificate.
Duration of the training
maximum of 18 months
A high level of self-discipline is expected from the students to complete the ATPL subject matter on their own initiative.
