Daytime training
Target group
students already having a certain amount of flying experience (PPL), aiming to become an Airline Transport Pilot or obtain another higher qualification, and who have sufficient time to be able to attend full-time daytime training.
Course start
each year at the mid September with a possible entry date at the end of January. The exact dates are published on the BAFA website or can be requested from the BAFA secretariat.
Admission requirements
minimum age 17 years. One must be at least qualified as a Private Pilot (PPL).
Admission tests
before being admitted to the training, must be in possession of a class 1 medical examination certificate.
Duration of the training
12 months with a maximum extension to 18 months. The theory training takes place in Antwerp together with the integrated training trainees. The program requires a high level of self-discipline. Just as for trainees following the integrated ATPL training, wearing a uniform is compulsory.
