General
The theory and practical training take place in Antwerp. Other airfields are also used for the practical training. This way, students gain maximum experience and become familiar with the different procedures they will encounter in their future careers.
The theory training takes place weekly on two evenings and on Saturdays and takes 18 months. The theory training is combined with the practical training. This phase is followed by intensive flight training. Because the length of the training is legally limited to 36 months, candidates must invest a maximum of their available time in this training. The whole course requires a high level of devotion and self-discipline from the candidates.
